Gone fishing

This weekend was awesome because of its great weather, it seemed like everybody was down by the waterfront enjoying themselves. People were in-line skating, having an ice cream, diving into the cold water, skateboarding, you name it... people were just having fun in general. ATB was not to be found indoors either. He was spotted fishing close to Te Papa although he was annoyed because he wasn't able to catch any fish. He blames it on the fact that he can't put the bait on properly due to the lack of fingers. Despite his ability as a fisherman, he certainly knows how to go fishing in style. Sporting an Akubra hat and a brand new pair of waders, he was able to snatch our attention.

iWant an iPhone!

I guess there isn't anything else to do except to wait until the iPhone arrives to NZ. When exactly will this happen? Nobody knows for sure, there are rumors that it might be vodafone or telecom. Whoever it may be, they better hurry up.
I've heard of some people who have bought them and are using them here in NZ although the phone feature is nonoperational. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind doing the same. It has so many features that the phone part doesn't become so important. Ok, that might sound really dumb, after all, why would somebody buy a phone if it's useless? And the reason is very simple, the iPhone is much more than just a phone. The fact that you can get them with 8 Gb of memory, will be enough to store your favourite music, take as many pictures you like with its integrated camera, check your email, browse the internet, have your address book sorted, browse google maps... and the list just goes on and on and on!
The simplicity of its use is absolutely amazing. You don't need more than five minutes to find the way you can access every single item within your phone. Some features that really stand out are the touch screen, the fact that you can zoom in and out of of a picture by just "pinching" the screen, and that you can browse images and internet horizontally. It's a real gem. The new iPods will have the touch screen features integrated into them rest assured. Makes you wonder if they'll start making computers with touch screens too. I'm sure they will.
Apple really scored big with the iPod and now they'll do it again with the iPhone. It is no wonder that people were lining up to get the first iPhones on the market. People camping out of the movie theaters to get the first tickets will know why people were doing the same for the iPhone. "Get a life!" you say? My answer to that would be to remember those occasions as a kid when you couldn't sleep because something big was happening the next day. That is the kind of adrenaline the iPhone is able to muster in all Apple fans. And by the way, I do have an iLife!
sorry... couldn't help it, hahaha.

First in a series

This is the first image of the appearance of AngryTeddyBear. He'll be popping all over the place so stay tuned. You never know where he might appear. This snapshot was taken when ATB was spotted near the diving plank in Wellington. Even though it was a beautiful sunny day, it's too early in spring to go swimming in the harbour. Needless to say, ATB did not have that much fun.

Second post

So it's been nearly 2 years since I last posted something here. I'll be playing around with this until I get it right, I hope no one gets to read this stuff cause it's pretty embarrassing and it's only an example.

Hmmmm... I wanted to post that image between these two paragraphs. Must keep on experimenting. Unless it's not designed to post more than one picture. We shall see in the next trial.
Ok, so it's pretty easy if you drag and drop.Monday, December 12, 2005
